A February Review and March Goals 2011

Another month has come and gone, and it is time to review my goals I set last month for my blog.

The goals that I set for the month of February are as follows:

  • Average 35 or more unique visitors per day.
  • Average 80 or  more unique pageviews per day.
  • Comment on at least two blogs per day.

I was not able to meet and exceed all of the goals that I set. Which is not a disappointment. It was a short month.

  • I averages 30 unique visitors per day.
  • I averaged 89 pageviews per day.
  • I commented more on others blog this month more than the goal I set.

I am not at all disappointed with this months numbers. Through commenting on others blogs I have seen the community around my blog grow, which is very exciting. I am loving the community!

Also, Tyler Tarver was generous enough to guest post for me this month which was full of awesomeness!

I was able to have a couple of giveaways. Free stuff is always fun!

So as I look to March I am looking to accomplish these goals:

  • Average 100 pageviews per day.
  • Add 2 more RSS subscribers.
  • Complete the redesign of the blog.
  • Add a Subscribe page.
  • Continue to stay involved in the blogging community.
  • Give away another product.

So there are the goals for the month. Hopefully it will be a success.

Here are a list of some of the great guys that have been helping The Daily Walk grow: KC, Ben, Moe, Sean, Michael, Clay, Matthew, Dustin, Brandon, Matt, Steven, Bill,  and other who read and comment. I could go on  and on.

    Man, thanks so much for mentioning me! I love to promote and engage in sites that promote Christian values! That’s the whole point in this world- to point others to Jesus!

    Those are some great goals! Glad you met them last month! I have also set some goals for next month. One that I forgot to post on ym site was to get up to 15 subscribers on my RSS. I have 11 now so that will be challenging! haha.

      Looks better. Less cluttered looking. I like the blog is now the landing page.

      Let me know if you ever decide to make the jump to maybe a self hosted WordPress blog. I could hook you up with some cheap hosting on my server space.

        Thanks so much! I have been thinking about it for awhile now, but I think I will stick with the webs for a little while. I will probably eventually switch over though. How much would you say it costs per yr on average?
