This past weekend the men at our church got together and went on a men’s retreat. In all there was about 50 of us, and it was the largest group that was able to attend in the years they have been doing it. It was a great time.
I met some great guys that I had not previously had the chance to meet. I was able to get some rest and just bond with some great guys.

A couple years ago I was sitting around thinking about how the Lord could use me, and how he was using me.
The sad think is he really was not. At least I thought he was not.
So I took inventory of myself and tried to think of ways that I could use some of my skills to work for the Kingdom of God and to show the love of God. I was stumped. I talked to my wife and I talked about this and she through something out that hit me right between the eyes. She said you played college baseball and you where a great hitter, why not teach lessons to kids? I thought to myself sure I could hit, but to teach it to someone. I just had know confidence. What a story. This is just a reminder about how great God is.
No matter what you are going through, He is still there with you working in the background.

You can be the biggest manly man in the word, but until you let God into you life you will never be the man He intended for you to be.
Now because of God’s love Paul is free of the addiction, he is a loving husband, and a father to His kids again.
