Death

This something that we will all have to face one day. Some sooner than others, and in different ways. We all though, will die.

That is what I heard in a sermon this past Sunday.

The day before we buried my great aunt. A godly woman who no doubt served an d expanded the Kingdom of God during her life. At her funeral scriptures were read out of her Bible that she had owned for 50 years. It was well studied and read. As you turned each page there were noted, highlights, and underlines passages that is proof that she never stopped searching for truths. She had phone numbers of governors and leaders in the pages. No doubt she prayed for them daily. The words that spoke of her were of a woman that loved to serve her Father in Heaven, a prayer warrior, and lover of those around her.

There is no doubt in my mind were my great aunt  is. She is rejoicing with here Father in Heaven. She fought the good fight, and served the Lord daily. She had her life in order and priorities straight.

Fear the lord and serve him daily as if it is your last. We will all sit before the judgement seat of the Lord someday. Image that…sitting face to face at the foot of your Creator! Don’t you want to hear these word “well done my good and faithful servant”? I know I do!

Can we say that we can without a shadow of a doubt say that if we were to die today we would know exactly were we are going? Have we served the Lord with all of our ability, and used the gifts to serve the Lord daily?

Wow. It's Quiet Here...
