Difficulties of Blogging

What makes blogging difficult for me?

There are a few things that make blogging difficult for me. What always seems to be in re back of my mind. The problem is, should I really worry about these things? Maybe, maybe not.

When I worry about blogging these are the things:

Ideas – will ideas continue to come to me, or will I run out of things to write about?

Time – will I continue to have the time to blog?

Interest – will I write an produce posts that are interesting to readers?

Growth – will my blog grow, and how will I get it to grow?

I hope these things that make blogging difficult never come about. I am a worrier though. I will just deal with them as they come.

Do you worry about these four things or anything else as a blogger? How are you working to avoid them?

I’m going to tackle these 1 by 1, so as to make it easier:

Ideas: There are definite times when I don’t ever want to write, but then there are days where I will bust out 4 or 5 draft ideas. I’m not really worried in this area, my mind runs a million miles a minute, I just need to put those ideas on paper.

Time: With 3 kids, this is always an issue. However, I will say Evernote (app) makes it a thousand percent easier.

Interest: Motto for the new year, Different strokes for different folks. There will always be people interested, always people non-interested. I used to care so much about this, that it prevent me from hitting the “publish” button. Bad news bears.

Growth: I can just hope that it will. John’s post about not trying to rush things has definitely put a “peace” about my demeanor. Slow and steady, and being consistent in your posting should and will produce positive results.

      Thanks Ben for the sharing.

Like the motto! I agree Evernote is a great tool.

I use two techniques if you want to call it that. I jot down random ideas in a notebook or if I am on the computer at the time, ideas get turned into drafts. I sometimes work on a few drafts at a time and then when one is completed, it just falls into the next available scheduled slot.
