Yesterday I posted about needing a break from work and that is exactly what I got last night. The Hillsong United concert was everything I hoped it would be an so much more.
The concert was amazing. They are such a good praise band. They sing with such enthusiasm and heart it just get contagious. You cannot help but to get excited you are in the presence of other believes singing praise to God.
There are a few things that I would like to share that I was able to bring away from the Hillsong United concert:
1. Youth – Todays young people sometimes get a bad wrap, but last night there where so many young people at the concert. That was very encouraging to me. So youth ministers out there that think that you are not getting through…you are!
2. One – As I was walking into and out of the concert I could not help but notice all he different types of people there, and all the denominations. It as cool to worship as One Body as Christ intended.
3. Heaven – I can only imagine what Heaven is going to be like. If last night was a hint I cannot wait. To see everyone worshiping with so much emotion. It was a real emotion stirring sight.
It was a great time to just get away from work for a little while and enjoy some great praise and worship with my wife. There was only one problem with the concert. That was that we wished that it would not end. They played for three hours and it went by so fast.
If you ever get the chance to see Hillsong United live go see them. Listening to them is great, but to see them live is something you just have to experience. I cannot wait to get the chance to see them again!

Awesome! Favorite song?
Aftermath from there new CD was great live. All of them where great though.
Dude! Wow!
Seriously!
That’s awesome! Isn’t it great when the body of Christ comes together? You don’t know hardly anyone, but yet you still feel the presence of God everywhere!
We are doing our D-now for my youth group in 2 weeks. I’m helping out with the worship! Really looking forward to it! I’ll b sure to get pics and post them!
Good luck with the event Brandon.
Nice–glad you had a good time.
Was a blast Matt!
Are they as good as people say they are? I hear they are incredible live.
I’m glad you had fun.
They where great Moe. Being able to see them live was an experience in itself. Great show.
I keep finding my bro’s landing here, so I know it’s good.
Great post Adam! Music has a way of lifting our spirits….it’s almost a mystery.
I totally agree with you Justin. Thanks for stopping by.
Great pictures! Thank you for sharing.
I had the opportunity to go to a Third Day concert last spring and it was incredible! Highly recommend.
Thanks man. They will be here first of April with Casting Crowns. I am planning on going.
I love Hillsong United so much, but sadly have never seen them in concert. When they come to the states they rarely come up north to Wisconsin, and then they did a few months ago (Milwaukee), but I couldn’t afford to make the 6 hour trek from near the Twin Cities. Lame for me. But I’m glad that you got to enjoy it – even their albums are incredible.
