In the book “How to Reach Your Full Potential for God” pastor, author and teacher Dr. Charles Stanley gives the reader an outline of essential elements they must commit to in order to reach ones full potential in serving God. These seven elements are as follows: 1.) A Clean Heart 2.) A Clean Mind 3.) Using Your Gifts 4.) A Healthy Body 5.) Right Relationships 6.) A Balanced Schedule 7.) Take God Approved Risks. Dr. Stanley goes into depth on each of these essentials and illustrates how God intended for use to focus on each of these areas.
In my opinion, Dr. Stanley succeeded in what he set out to do in this book in a captivating and understandable manner. The book was well researched and organized very well. I especially liked the fact that at the end of each of “the essentials” chapters noted above that he added a story about actual people and how they are reaching their full potential for God in that individual area. It really gives the reader something to relate too.
This book would be a great book for a church to go through in a bible study or a great inspirational book for someone looking to find themselves and what their objective is for severing Christ.
…and I agree with Dr. Stanley, “The best is yet to come.”
