I Made Money Blogging in 2010 and Completed Tentblogger Challenge

A few months ago John Saddington of Tentblogger challenged his readers to make $1.00 through their blog by the end of the year. I tentatively accepted the challenge and rose my figure to $100.00. I say tentatively because I did not want to fail. I needed to do it for the challenge though. To see if I could if I tried.

So here I am at the first of the year. I looked through my income that I have generated through the site since I started The Daily Walk back in February of 2010 and am excited to announce that I did indeed succeed at the challenge, and surpass it. Through the blog the past 10 months I made a total of $156.80. I am super excited about this and the possibilities the future holds.

The breakdown:

Google AdSense: $9.29
Amazon Affiliates: $7.66
Other Affiliate Sales: $139.85

This coming up year I hope to make even more through the blog. I will look into different avenues of income possibilities. Hopefully even sell my first paid ad through the site this year. We will see.

I have a feeling it is going to be another fun and exciting year of blogging.

There you have it. Tentblogger challenge completed! Successful!

Sweet stuff. I’ve been planning on starting into this side of blogging at the New Year myself. I have a friend to help and love what I’ve gotten from Tentblogger so far. Hope to duplicate your 2010 success bro!
