iPad OS 4.2 Adds Features that Help Bloggers

Do you use an iPad? If you do you should update ir to OS 4.2 today. It will totally transform it capabilities.

I have had the opportunity to use the updated OS for the iPad for the past couple of weeks. I feel that the added features that 4.2 are great. The added features definitly increase the iPad’s functionality.

The features that have been added that I feel are the most note worthy are:
Printing – the new OS now allows you to print from the iPad wirelessly to select printers. Great tool to be able to quickly print off documents that you are working on instead of having to save the file to Dropbox and print it from a computer with connected printer.

Folders – the new OS allows you to create folders. This is great when you have and test out a lot of apps like I do. Just gives the iPad screen more a sense of organization.

Multi-Tasking – this is the upgrade that I have been waiting for sense I got my iPad. It has been quite an annouianme for me not having it all this time. It allows me to be drafting this blog post in Evernote and go to the browser to research images and information. It makes the iPad a far more productive tool in my opinion.

The upgrade also added a gaming center for all of the gamer out there. I am not a gamer so it is not that big a deal to me.

So those are my thoughts on the iPad’s updated operating system. Some great new features have been added that in my opinion made the iPad a more productive tool than the past OS.

As a blogger I have been waiting for the mulit-tasking. It is something that is essential when putting together posts while worming from the iPad. Now I only wish that the WordPress app would turn into the app that I wish it where.
