Iron Man 2 – Movie Review

This past weekend my wife and I had the opportunity to see The Iron Man sequel. I have anticipated the release of this film, because I am a big fan of all of the comic based films. I had high expectations of this film after enjoying the first film.

After revealing to the world that he is Iron Man, Tony Stark comes under pressure from the government. They want the Iron Man suite for military purposes. They feel they need it because other countries are trying to duplicate the Iron Man suite. Tony Stark very adamantly refuses to turn over the Iron Man suite in great Stark style. Meanwhile, a Russian physicist successfully creates a suite that puts Starks life in jeopardy.

Tony Stark in the middle of all this is going through health issues that are sped up by the use of the Iron Man suite. He is in a desperate race to find an new form of power for the reactor that fuels his body.

We found the movie to be a very worthy sequel to the first film. I cannot say it was better, because sequels seldom are. It was very entertaining and here are a few reasons I think you should take the time to see this film:

1. Lots of action – If you are a fan of action you will not be disappointed by this movie.
2. Humor – Tony Starks personality and style of humor are classic.
3. Robots – Need I say more.
4. Tech – Supper cool tech gadgets.
5. Special Effects – The visual and special effects for the film are simply amazing.
