I heard about this band that is mashing up classic rock songs with pop songs on a local radio show this morning. The name of the band is Rock Sugar. They mash up songs by artists such as Journey with Metallica or Bon Jovi with AC/DC.
Of first hearing this I was kind of skeptical. I like both of the genre’s of music separately, but to mix up all of those classic hits. Upon hearing then I was pleasantly surprised. It is catchy and different, and I have to say I have heard a lot worse.
These guys definitely look the part of an 80′s pop/classic rock band…

I love it! It sounds like Journey or BJ on steroids. I may be 57 and about to be 58 but I ain’t dead yet! I would listen and even buy this.
