A Blogging Milestone: 300th Post and Giveaway

Today is milestone I only realized a couple of days ago after KC from Some Wise Guy celebrated his 100th blog post. After I read his post in all his goodness I wondered what post I was actually on. What Tangled Revealed to Me About Raising a Child
Have you ever been excited about an upcoming movie after seeing the trailer?
When my wife and I say the trailer for TangledTangled is the story of Rapunzel who was kidnapped as an infant after an evil women realized that her hair had a unique special power. The women locked her away in a hidden tower to keep her to herself. Then one day a thief, by the name of Flynn Ryder stumbles upon the tower. This chance encounter leads Rapunzel on an adventure in search of answers and a journey to find herself.
The movie has a good story line, and is something the whole family can enjoy. The whole family found itself caught up in the adventure. We laughed a lot and thoroughly enjoyed it!
I enjoy being a husband and father, and I always try to take away as much as a I can from what I read, watch, and listen too. I often ask what can I learn from this, or how can I relate to this? Even is it is an animated movie!

Blood Covenant by Lisa Harris is a fast paced fiction work that takes place in the heart of Africa. The books main character Dr. Paige Ryan works for the Volunteers of Hope International. She has come to the Republic of Dhambizao with aspirations of changing the world by helping those in need. However, she has come to a country that is on the brink of civil war, and where a group of Ghost Soldiers are trying to over through the government by any means necessary. After loosing a close friend to these rebels Dr. Ryan is ready to go home, but she is summoned to go to a refugee camp in hope of getting started an effort to try to stop the cholera outbreak in the camp. She agrees to get the camp started, but wants out of the country when she has done her part in the effort.
