I can remember when I used to have a pager and had to go to find a pay phone to call someone. I remember my first cell phone and its ability to only make calls. It is amazing how far the cell phone industry has come in such a short time. It seems like over night that the cell phone has gone from something the size of a shoe box to a hand held personal computer.

So this past Saturday November 12, 2011 I turned 29 years old. This week the National Peanut Festival is in town and I had the chance to go over the weekend. It has been a annual thing that we go to and is always a lot of fun. Especially now that my son is no enough to ride some of the kids rides. We hope to take him back a couple of more times before it leaves town.
