Standard Theme 2.5 for WordPress

About six months  into blogging I decided to buy a premium theme. The theme that I ended up purchasing was the Standard Theme and it is the theme that I currently use here on The Daily Walk.

I have been nothing, but satisfied with my purchase. I have stated several times that it is the best money by far that I have spent on my blog. From its initial installment I saw a increase in blog traffic. It is coded for optimum search engine optimization and my stats since purchasing it have almost tripled.

Last month the team of developers that work on the Standard Theme released version 2.5 of the theme. It included several new features and improvements that can be seen here.

When I purchase the Standard Theme 2.0 I purchased the Standard License only without access to the support forums. When the updated version came out I went ahead and upgrades to the Support License so that I could update to Standard 2.5 and have access to the forums. I paid for the upgrade with income that I had generated from my blog so it worked out well.

After the upgrade I immediately went to upgrade to Standard Theme 2.5 and see what the forums where all about. Needless to say I wish that I would have purchased the Support License long ago. The vast amounts of informations and how-to’s contained in the forums are well worth the extra money spent.

If you have ever had a question about the Standard Theme I think you can probably find the answers in the the forum, or one of the experts hanging around there will answer it for you. There are even some variation of the theme that are available to download.

So if you have the Standard Theme and do not have the Support License you are missing out on some very valuable information. If you are looking to buy the Standard Theme and the Support License is in you budget, definitely go for it.  I do not think that you will be disappointed.

I am still very satisfied with the Standard Theme, and cannot wait to see where the team of developers take it next!

Are you a fan of the Standard Theme? Did you get the support license?

Dude, thank you for this post. I’m almost ready to pull the trigger on StandardTheme this month and wasn’t sure if I should go for the standard or supported license.

No problem. The forums that have completely been redone as of today are filled with some awesome information!

    Adam,

I purchased the Standard Theme as an early Christmas present to myself. I absolutely love it! I also purchase the support license and I am so glad I did. The 8Bit community has been such a tremendous help to me and their responses to my questions have been answered quickly and in a way that have been helpful to me as someone who is still quite new to the world of blogging. I would and do, recommend them to anyone interested in purchasing a premium theme. The $ spent on the theme has been worth every penny.

I cannot speak highly enough of it. I will use nothing else!
