Sunday Recap: Thanks

A review from Sunday service from 11/21/2010

The title of todays service was entitled “Thanks” is honor of the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday this week.

However, before the messege took place a group from the church had put together a presentation from their recent mission trip to Moldova. They went to aid helping eliminate and the local problem of the growing world wide epidemic.

The statistics that they gave just blew my mind. I really wish that I had them all so I could list them here.

Hopefully I can think of some way to help in a small way aid in the elimination of this problem.

The mesesege for the day dealt with giving thanks and that we are always to be thankful.

The messege was broken down into three points as follows:

Thankfullness is to be constant. We are always to give thanks to God.

Circumstances should not contol us being thankful. Even if you are in a bad situation you should always give thanks to God for what he HAS blessed you with.

Thankfullness builds relationship. If you are contstantly thankfull for God and all that he has blessed you with it will only strengthen your relationship with Him.

It was a great message. It really hit home. I really should be thankful more about what God has given to me instead of always wanting more from Him.

What are you thankful for?

Wow. It's Quiet Here...
