The Boy Who Changed the World by Andy Andrews is everything that a children’s book should aim to be. Andy has taken part of his book entitled The Butterfly Effect
and put it into a children’s book and what a powerful message to give to children at a young age. Andy’s title tells kids that everything that they do is of importance. That they mean something in the world and that every action that they take will result in another action.
When I got this book my wife an third grade elementary school teacher said that this was a great book for kids and it is sad there are not more book out there like this one. She thought that this book had such a good message that she took it to school the next day and read it to her kids. She has also been telling other parents about it, hoping that they will get the title for their kids.
This is the best childen’s book that I have ever read. My son loves it. For the time being he can only enjoy the colorful and fantastic illustrations by Philip Hurst, but this is one of those book that I will read to my son regularly. It is exactly what a child should be hearing and a great boost of confidence to them. To feel as if they matter at an early age could change the outcome of thier lives.
Get this book if you have children or grandchildren; you will not regret it!
