The Grace of God by Andy Stanley

Andy Stanley, author and founder of North Point Ministries, has written that totally encompasses and illustrates the beauty of God’s Grace. In the book The Grace of God Stanley paints a perfect picture throughout each one of the pages of how truly blessed we are to receives God’s never ending grace. Andy Stanley takes you on a journey through the Bible showing that God’s grace is not seen in bits and places throughout time but from the beginning to the present and that it will continue on for eternity. God gives us a grace that we often want, but do not deserve. A grace that so often goes unnoticed in our day to day lives.

Throughout each chapter Stanley uses key points in the Bible, as well as his own life, to describe the aspects of grace. He takes you on a journey from Creation to Modern times of how grace is seen and interpreted. Each chapter shares a uniqueness to a grace that we so greatly need in our lives.

I feel that The Grace of God is a beautifully done book. It is a breath of fresh air and a look towards a future of hope if we just embrace the concept of grace. Living in a time of often graceless religion I hope that church leaders get the chance to read this book and take in what Stanley is showing.  A grace that our Father in heaven gave to us even though we are so undeserving. A grace that can take in a sinner and love them even though they have turned their back on him for so long.

Grace is a wonderful thing and Andy Stanley had done a masterful job of portraying it throughout the pages of this wonderful book. I would highly recommend this book to anyone, because we are all saved by this beautiful word called GRACE.
