Being a tech junkie like I am I have had an iPod since they first came out. They have come a long way since then and I think there is not a better mp3 player out there. The quality you get from them is superb. I had my original iPod for about 7 years before it finally just gave out on me.
The iPod was my first Apple purchase and I have to say the quality that I got from it tells me one thing about the Apple brand. That is that there products are made to perform at high standards and have a long life because of the quality of craftsmanship. I currently have an iPod classic that I have had for 3 years now and I have been really happy with it. It is far superior in performance and features than my original iPod, and the newer ones have even more features. I keep thinking there is no way Steve Jobs and his people over there at Apple could top the previous versions of the iPod, but they continue to prove me wrong.
I choose to not go with the iPod Touch because I have a smartphone and I figured why waste the money on something that my phone does without requiring a wireless signal. I would love to have and iPhone one day, but until they come to Verizon I will not have one,
I do have an iPad that my wife got me for Father’s Day. That is a unique tool, and is really a bi version of the iPod Touch.
I have tons of music on my iPod ranging from Journey to Third Day to Brad Paisley and even a little Nelly. I also have started listening to Podcasts and I think Bryan Allain’s The FreshPod is awesome and I would highly suggest you checking it out.
So whenever I am traveling I always have a few things with me all the time and my iPod is one of them.
Do you own an iPod?
