This is a song by Addison Road called This Little Light of Mine that I have been hearing on the radio a lot lately, and every time that I hear to it I enjoy it more and more. Little song, very big meaning.
Everything you do no matter how big or small affects those around you. So be that little light in someone’s life today with a positive influence. One that shows the love of Christ.
When I think about this I think about my son. How he never ceases to amaze me with the love he shows everyone he comes across. I pray he keeps his little light shining bright the rest of his life, and never stops loving others. He is my little light today, and he is shining bright!
So often we forget how big an influence we can be on those around us. We think of ourselves as just another face in the crowd. Certainly not someone who has any influences on the lives of people we come into contact with ever day. How wrong we are for thinking this. Little thanks you’s and smiles to the person you pass in the hall. You may never, but your “little light” might have just turned someones day around. Little things do make big impacts!

Who has been a light? Honestly, this community of bloggers has impacted me tremendously over the last 4-5 months. It’s been quite amazing, in fact.

First, have to admit this is not my style of music but WOW! What a song! Who has been a light? I would have to say my wife and 2 daughters for starters. My mom was an early influence. And I will go with Dustin on this community of bloggers. People like you two and others. Thanks Adam for opening up this song to me.

Growing up in was youth pastors. I didn’t bring a lot to the table but they invested in me and made a HUGE impact. As an adult it’s pastors that I watch from a far. By watching sermons, reading blogs, and or reading their books.
