Waiting for God

This past week I came across a great daily devotional on waiting for God that I would like to share. Waiting for God is often the hardest things we have to do in our Christian walk. When God doesn’t immediately respond to our prayers or answer them in the way we wanted. Instead of seeing the power of the Lord we get silence. In this silence the Lord is teaching us still. He is allowing us to think about what we are asking for. He is giving us time to sit back and analyze what we are truly asking for. For if we sit back wait and observe we will ultimately make better choices in life. Things that you may ask God for and help with may be important today, but not tomorrow. We gain faith in the Lord by hearing, and patience in waiting.
